Based on my large quilt - Portland, My City of Roses, I designed this mini quilt to be used for a workshop class that I developed for “QuiltFest Virtual Summer Schoolhouse 2024.” It is a unique project containing two very different techniques - Jigsaw Puzzle Piecing™ (JPP), an original technique that I created for piecing complex, irregular quilt designs, and improv foundation piecing for creating colorful, one-of-a-kind roses.
